Utah teen charged with killing mother and brother
Police had not recovered firearms in the investigation other than two BB guns found in the teen’s room.
Saratoga Springs police arrested the teen on Aug. 14 after a 17-month investigation.
Police found Jessica Orton Lyman, 44, and Eli Painter, 8, suffering from gunshot wounds on March 28, 2025, and both died.
