Twelve people shot across July 4th celebrations in NYC, including children in Brooklyn mass shooting
Tisch said the shooter fled on foot southbound on West 30th Street toward Surf Avenue and that there was no indication of any argument or altercation before the shooting.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the shooter was an unidentified male in all-black clothing wearing a ski mask who walked up to the fence line and fired numerous shots into the courtyard.
The unidentified man shot in Queens was listed in critical but stable condition and the 19-year-old was listed in stable condition.
