Egypt's role in shaping Ethiopia's next Nile dams after GERD
Ethiopia's Water and Energy Ministry announced plans for the Karadobi, Mandaya, and Beko Abo hydropower projects in March.
Sudanese governance expert Mekki Elmograbi said transparency from Ethiopia is the first step toward cooperation.
Ethiopia inaugurated the GERD on September 9, 2025.
