Measles outbreak in Maryland prompts vaccination call
The Maryland Department of Health declared a measles outbreak in St. Mary's, Carroll and Cecil counties.
Yont said if someone is not protected from measles, they have a 90% chance of becoming infected if exposed.
Yont said that for every person infected with measles, between 10 and 13 unimmunized individuals could get the illness from that one person.
