FTC and states seek contempt ruling against Martin Shkreli over pharma ban
New York Attorney General Letitia James said a court-ordered lifetime ban is not a suggestion and that Shkreli has been livestreaming his pharmaceutical company trades in violation of the law.
The 2nd Circuit US Court of Appeals upheld the permanent injunction against Shkreli in January 2024, and the Supreme Court declined to take his appeal in October 2024.
The FTC alleges Shkreli has traded stocks in at least 60 pharmaceutical companies since his release from prison in May 2022.
