Irish authorities seek extradition warrant for suspect in murder of American Jamey Carney
Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan said every diplomatic and judicial channel would be explored to ensure justice is served.
The suspect initially arrived in the United Kingdom before crossing through Northern Ireland to settle in County Kerry.
Jamey Carney was discovered by her teenage daughter on July 7.
“The gardaí are obviously pursuing a very clear line of inquiry. The person they want to speak to left the country before the body of the late Ms. Carney was discovered,”
JIM O’CALLAGHAN
