Indonesia earthquake death toll rises during recovery efforts
Marselus Yugo Amboro said the roads to Palue Island were steep and many were blocked by landslides, describing the trip as a near-death journey.
By Monday, two days after the quake, the death toll had risen to at least 68, with more than 200 people injured.
Indonesia's National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) said more than 4,500 homes were damaged, some 19,000 people were forced into temporary shelters and 213 people were injured.

BBC reported the death toll was at least 53.
The BNPB said preliminary reports indicate more than 900 homes and hundreds of other buildings were severely damaged.
