India's June quarter GDP print controversy
An IMF report last year assigned India's economic data a C grade, its second-lowest rank.
The Indian National Congress party claimed that India's GDP over the last four years has been revised down by 43 lakh crore ($455 billion).
India's chief economic advisor V Anantha Nageshwaran said the latest GDP figures were compiled using the financial year ending in March 2023 as the new base.
