FTC and 20 states sue Dollar General for overcharging shoppers
The 20 states joining the FTC in the lawsuit are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Wisconsin.
The FTC and 20 states filed a lawsuit accusing Dollar General of charging customers more than the prices displayed on shelves, price tags, and in advertisements.
Dollar General did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
