China expels two top military leaders from Communist Party
The expelled military generals are Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli.
State-run Xinhua news agency reported that Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli "seriously violated political discipline and political rules, formed cliques and factions, and were disloyal and dishonest to the party".
Liu Zhenli was a member of the Central Military Commission and the chief of staff of its Joint Staff Department.
