Berlin Pride van-ramming attack; suspect killed by police
Three of the injured people have life-threatening injuries and eight are seriously injured.
German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said everything seen in the attack points to an Islamic terror attack.
On July 3, police searched Ballout's home in Berlin-Schöneberg on suspicion of a violation of Germany's Weapons Act, but found only a toy gun and dismissed the case.
“I would like to say this to Christopher Street Day participants here in Berlin but also across Germany: Don't let yourselves, let us not let ourselves, be intimidated,”
ALEXANDER DOBRINDT
