Kazakhstan holds snap parliamentary elections
More than 12 million of Kazakhstan's 20 million citizens are eligible to vote in the election.
Polling stations opened at 7am local time (02:00 GMT) with closure scheduled for 8pm (15:00 GMT).
Parties must secure at least 5 percent of the overall vote to enter government.
