The DNR told 12 News on Tuesday that a frost would slow the spread of EHD by midges but it was unknown if dead deer reports would continue at the same level until then.

“As of this morning, we had received reports of over 600 EHD suspect deer from Washington County and over 100 from Waukesha County,”
