“While it's impressive that Sony's XM6 headphones went on sale at all considering Sony released them in May, in my head-to-head comparison, I didn't find that the XM6s were drastically better than the XM5s — certainly not $180 better. You get the same general design (minus the folding ear cups), the same 30-hour battery life, very similar ANC, and excellent sound quality, though the XM6s are a touch warmer.”
