Leaked: Sony NEX F3 And Alpha A37 Cameras [Pictures]
Yesterday we reported on a leaked image of the NEX F3 camera (click here). And today we have yet another leaked image of the camera, but this one shows yet another camera currently in it’s developmental stages, the Alpha A37 SLT. This comes courtesy of Yang Canggih who said yesterday at Sony’s Partners Conference in Jakarta he got to demo the cameras. The post was either taken down, or never officially released to the public, but photo’s Yang took were uploaded, and we got to get a taste of what we’re dealing with.
Lets talk about the F3 first, the F3 looks thin, almost like a point-and-shoot, but with a bigger professional lens. It’s curvy, and looks like it would feel fantastic in the hand. It has a pop up flash, seen in the image above. It’s also got a 180 degree swivelling screen on board. The camera almost looks like a shrunken down DSLR if you will, similar to what Nikon’s been doing for some time now.
Now lets talk about the A37, this is a much more professional camera. The camera is indeed a SLT, so it’s in the medium range between a full blown DSLR and a Point and Shoot. It boasts 16.1 megapixels. The camera also has a pop up flash, but that’s all we know, we don’t know any more tech specs of the camera; Not even a search on GDGT, could we find any info. So it seems the details of this one are going to have to wait until an official release. As always however, we will be sure to update you on any news regarding either camera.
