Amazon Kindle Fire Owns A Whopping 54% Of The Android Tablet Market
Amazon should be proud of this statistic, since november last year when the Kindle Fire was official released, the Fire’s popularity has sky rocketed. That being said no one could have predicted this statistic released by comScore. The Kindle fire reportedly accounts for 54% of the Android tablet market. The Fire is followed by Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, the Asus Transformer and the Toshiba AT100, among others. This follows Amazons release of Q1 2012 Statistics, revealing sales of $13.8 Billion this quarter alone. This also means great things for Google, having the Fire running a custom version of Android, and Amazon continues to be an incredibly profitable business.
